Patio and waterfront seating are the only choices here, so you’ll never be disappointed by the view. The service is fast, the food is affordable and the island atmosphere is always close at hand. The chef suggests the classic black Angus beef burger, the Momma Owl’s crab cake burger or the fish tacos, which is also a crowd favorite.

Harris’ Crab House & Seafood Restaurant has an extensive menu featuring local seafood in a relaxed, waterfront family atmosphere. Speaking of family, the Crab House has over five generations of Harris’ involved in the business. They are proud of their legacy, and they also pay homage to the local seafood industry. The restaurant buys its seafood from approximately 350 local watermen and employs approximately 140 people from the community. Favorites from the menu include scallops au gratin, house smoked tuna barbecue, Cioppinio stew, shrimp cocktail and steamed crabs.

Doc’s Riverside Grille is a must stop restaurant in Centreville. “Everyone flocks to Doc’s” as they say for its local charm, southern hospitality and outstanding cuisine. Fare favorites, such as spiced shrimp, Maryland seafood vegetable soup, the stuffed avocado salad, the surf and turf burger and pork shanks keep fans coming back for more. Food and drink specials are offered Monday through Thursday. Outdoor seating options are also available for your enjoyment!

8. O’ Shuck’s Irish Pub

Centreville’s other star on the food scene is O’ Shuck’s Irish Pub. This family-friendly Irish pub and restaurant is located in the heart of the town and is waiting to become your new favorite hangout spot. Along with traditional Irish fare such as shepherd’s pie and corned beef, you also can feast on classics and more contemporary dishes like crab dip, margarita flatbread pizza, seafood diablo and blackened scallops. Sit near the garage door inspired front window. It is the best seats in the house. The open air section mirrors that of an outdoor patio dining experience.
