CCCT Project Updates

Upcoming project work:

Week of April 1st

Cross County Connector Trail Update-
SHA District-2 has agreed to REVISE the permit day time closures of exit ramp 42 to 7am to 5pm (These closures will not be permitted during peak season beginning in May).  Ramp closure for pile installation will be in place until the end of April, depending on weather and site conditions.

Extending the ramp closure time may reduce the number of days required for this exit ramp closure.   After the exit ramp closure is removed, flagging operations will be required along Kent Narrows Road to supply materials for the boardwalk construction.

Since the exit ramp closure, pile driving has started at both ends of project.  Several piles and boardwalk stringers have been installed along the Kent Narrows Road and the east end of the project.
