Senior Centers

The County operates 3 Senior Centers serving persons over age 55 in Grasonville, Kent Island, and Sudlersville. Recreational and educational programs are provided. Activities include arts, music, meals, health and fitness programs, parties, dances, bingo, trips, guest speakers, line dance classes, computer classes and other educational programs. Transportation to the centers is available. A monthly activity calendar and menu may be picked up at the senior centers.

Centers operate Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

STORM RELATED UPDATES:

• The Kent Island Senior Center will remain closed Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
• Transit operations will operate as normal on Tuesday.
• The home delivered meals route will resume on Wednesday, July 26th, with emergency box meals available tomorrow on a case by case basis.
• Recreation camps at Mowbray Park/Matapeake Elementary School will remain closed Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
