Annual Economic Outlook Symposium and Business Appreciation Breakfast

This year's event was held March 23, 2018 at the Caroline Center at Chesapeake College.  The keynote speaker was Kurt M. Landgraf, President of Washington College.  

The Economic Development Commission recognized eight local businesses that support the Driving Strategies of the Queen Anne's County Economic Development Strategic Plan.

Stories of the Chesapeake Heritage Area provides resources, workshops, grants and networking opportunities for heritage-based organizations.

TEDCO is a resource of mentoring, funding and networking for  entrepreneurs and start-ups that need guidance as they bring innovative concepts to market. This organization also loan and links to research assistance. 

Upper Shore Regional Council is a regional planning and development agency for Cecil, Kent and Queen Anne's counties. It exists to foster the physical, economic and social development of the region. For the development of the area's human and economic resources, the Council initiates and coordinates plans and projects

MARBIDCO (Maryland Agriculture Resource Based Industry Development Co). The mission of this organization is to assist Maryland's farm, forestry and seafood businesses to achieve profitability and sustainability by providing targeted services, such as loans and grants, that help retain existing Ag/RBI production and commerce, promote rural entrepreneurship, and nurture emerging industries.
