County Administrator Gregg Todd's Wrap-Up of the Jan. 23rd QAC Commissioners' Meeting

Meeting began Tuesday at 4:50 with an administrative session for the remaining EDC member and Ethics Commission member. This is followed by a 5:00 with Chris Drummond to discuss the disposition of Historic Christ Church and the pending lease with Shines Like Stars Pre School. There was a consensus taken in the administrative session and voted on in public session to appoint Kathy Deoudes to the EDC and Valerie Hirsch to the Ethics Commission. There was also consensus to enter in to a 1 year lease with Shines Like Stars at Historic Christ Church but to also deed the property, including the rectory, over to the Friends of Historic Christ Church or a similar non-profit on KI to utilize the building and grounds for community/arts/entertainment events.

6. Amendment to Resolution 18-01 – Broadband Advisory Council – removes “financing” recommendation from resolution – approved

There was a motion made at round table by Commissioner Moran to enter into Phase II contract with MuniCap to finalize the Kent Narrows TIF Study. This was approved.
