Kennard Alumni Hosts African American Heritage Family Festival

The Kennard Alumni Association with support from Abundant Life Restoration Ministries will present an evening of “Family History and Heritage” on Sat., February 18, 2017 at the “Newly Restored” Kennard High School Cultural Heritage Center, 410 Little Kidwell Avenue, in Centreville, MD.  Come and experience this oral and musical walk through local African American history. The event will feature exhibits, music, dance, and will honor “Local Legends”.  This event is a “must see and hear” for all family members.  Doors will open at 3:30PM.  Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for ages 6 - 12 (5 & under “FREE”).  All proceeds benefit “The Kennard Alumni Scholarship Fund”, supporting deserving seniors of Queen Anne’s County.  Refreshments will be on sale.   Contact Clayton Washington at 443-239-2110 or Kia Reed at 410-739-0395 for more info.
