County Administrator Gregg Todd's Wrap Up of the July 25th QAC Commissioner Meeting

Folks,

First I want to thank everyone involved with the Tornado response and cleanup. From our DES folks to our Roads, Sanitary, Solid Waste and Parks crews, Depart of Aging, Public Information, Sheriff’s department to the VFD’s that responded. It was a terrific outpouring from our entire community and I am extremely proud of all of those involved.

Tuesday’s meeting began at 4:30 with a closed session consult with counsel on a pending legal contract.

Tab 3 Action Items:

1. Jones Farm Lane Solar, LLC – PSC judge has a hearing scheduled for Aug 8 at 6:30 – Commissioner Jack Wilson agreed to co-chair

2. Resolution 17-41 – Guidelines for Solar Payment in lieu of Taxes – held for more information

4. CDBG – Semi-Annual Progress Report – Chester Wye Center – State Street house – approved

5. Semi-Annual Grant Reporting for Matapeake Industrial Park – approved  

6. Grant Agreement for Rental Allowance Program FY2018 – approved

7. Outside Agency Funding Requests – guidelines from Jon on future budget outside agency requests – will follow for FY19

8. Withdraw from KNDF 570 Fund - $59K – approved

9. Blue Heron & White Marsh Parks – Roadway/Parking Curb & Resurfacing - $99,380 for both projects – approved

10. Budget Amendment CC-6 – Emergency Management – gives budget authority to spend remainder of FY17 grants in FY18 – approved

11. Budget Amendment CC-29 – BOE Tournament Field Maintenance - recognizes BOE field use revenue to be used for maintenance – approved

12. Budget Amendment CC-30 – Fire Departments – cleanup of fire impact fee – approved
