County Administrator Gregg Todd's Wrap Up of the Aug. 8 QAC Commissioner Meeting


Meeting began at 8:45 with a personnel closed session, to discuss making a current contractual position full time.   Commissioners agreed by consensus and voted in open session to approve.

1. Circuit Courthouse Construction Update 


2. Systematic Replacement of Fleet Vehicles – purchase of two Volt Electric cars for General Services – approved 

3. Maryland Department of Transportation Annual Tour – approval of Transportation Priorities 2018 – approved pending addition of 301 J-Turns as a priority to eliminate at-grade crossings


4. Southern Kent Island Sewer Project Update

Tab 3, Action Items:

1. Fiber Contact with FTS – approved pending securing bonding or an otherwise acceptable means of contract guarantee

2. Property Lien’s – approval of the Resolutions to place a lien on each of these properties – approved 

3. Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat – Development Review Fee Reimbursement Request –  development review fee reimbursement request on behalf of the project entitled “Dogwood Acres” be remanded to the Economic Development Commission for review and recommendation at its next regular Business Meeting – approved 

4. Mid Shore Behavioral Health appointment request – appoint Mike Clark to serve a 2nd 3-year term on the Regional Behavioral Health Advisory Committee to begin September 1, 2017 – approved
