*Old Love Point Tennis Courts will be closed for renovation starting 9/17/24. This in an approved FY 25 Capital Project for the Department of Parks and Recreation. The project will include new fencing, new tennis standards and nets, new asphalt and color coating. Project is anticipated to be complete by November 17, 2024. All work is weather dependent. This 30.5-acre park features two lighted baseball/softball diamonds, two additional baseball/softball diamonds, a lighted tennis courts, a lighted sandy volleyball court, multiple fields for soccer and lacrosse, a concession stand, and lighted basketball court. There is a set of cornhole boards near the playground area, remember to bring your own bags if you intend on playing. You can also access the Cross Island Trail from Old Love Point Park. QAC has dedicated a portion of the trail to Opioid Awareness, which bisects the park. This park is generally ADA Accessible, with a paved trail system connecting the parking lot, bathroom, tennis court, basketball court, and to one baseball diamond.
It also features the Children’s Memorial Playground, dedicated to the memory of children from Queen Anne’s County who prematurely lost their lives. The playground has two major components, one for the toddler age child and one for the older child.
Individuals may reserve the pavilion for family reunions or other special gatherings by contacting the Parks and Recreation headquarters at 410-758-0835. Portable toilets are provided year-round.
