  3. Little Bobbers Fishing Derby

    August 4, 2018, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center

    fishing derby for children 5-12 ( children must be accompanied by an adult at all times) on the ponds on-site at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. All children will receive a goody bag, lunch, snacks, T-shirt and a chance to win awards and prizes. Awards will be given for each age group to the girl and boy who catch the biggest fish of the Largemouth Bass and Bluegill species. The event will be capped at 100 participants so please register online to save your spot.

  4. 1st Saturdays in Historic Stevensville - LEGO Scavenger Hunt

    August 4, 2018, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Downtown Stevensville

    Visit the library to pick up your scavenger hunt passport. (While there build with the lego collection) Then visit participating shops and sites in Historic Stevensville Art and Entertainment District to find hidden LEGO letters. Once you have discovered enough letters to spell a word, return the completed passport back to the library to be entered to win a special LEGO Prize. **A list of participating businesses/shops will be posted closer to event date

  5. The 4th Annual Sudlersville Peach Festival

    We co-host the Sudlersville Peach Festival with Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company. With the best local bands providing live music, community non-profit groups serving great homemade food from pit beef to peach cobbler, local vendors offering their best hand-made crafts, and lots of great family activities, this event is a true community gala that promises to be a great time for the whole family. There is no admission free to this event

  6. World War II Exhibition

    August 4, 2018, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Museum of Eastern Shore Life

    WWII Exhibition ** LIMITED FEATURE ONLY Glimpse rural life of the past at Queen Anne’s Museum of Eastern Shore Life where you’ll find a unique collection of antique farm implements and tools, equipment used by watermen to harvest the Bay’s bounty, Indian artifacts, and household items. A real blacksmith shop is reconstructed here giving visitors a peek into the past. Among the museum’s most recent acquisitions are a log canoe, pictured to the left, and a complete print shop from the late 1800’s.

  7. Art of the Machine

    August 4, 2018, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Queen Anne's County Centre for the Arts

    This exhibition will focus on the machine though its adolescence during the industrial age and the nuances of electro-mechanical artistry of the twentieth century, when switches clicked and motors purred. These marvelous objects would form the center of a workplace, a home, a mode of transportation. And they were designed and built with the pride they deserved. So, hop in our time machine, and spend a Saturday night among beautiful things. The evening will include a signature cocktail, beer, wine, hor d'oeuvres, and the magic of the magnificent machine. Our openings, as always are free and all are welcome. See you there!
