Queen Anne’s County Commercial / Industrial Land Inventory

Planning staff initiated a study with the purpose of creating an inventory of the commercial/industrial zoned properties in Queen Anne’s County in November 2010.  This was done in accordance with the 2010 Comprehensive Plan, Land Use Section 1.0, Goal 1, Objective 9, Recommendation 1, page 1-29 as well as Economic Development and Tourism Section 6.0, Goal 2, Objective 5, Recommendation 1, page 6-14.

Planning and Economic Development staff met with the Planning Commission and the Economic Development Commission to examine data regarding the commercial properties in the County.  This data was then refined and organized so that it may be more easily analyzed when assessing the property’s viability in terms of its commercial/industrial zoning.
