The Public Access Channel - Channel 6

Channel 6 is in transition from Chesapeake College to a new operator. An RFP has been drafted and will be released soon. Information about the new operator will be posted when available. Thanks for your patience.

Any nonprofit organization serving these areas will be able to use Channel 6 to publicize events, performances, meetings, jobs, or public service messages.

Not all content submitted can be aired on Channel 6
Cable Channel 6 must not be used for illegal purposes. They cannot broadcast the following: product or service advertising for private sector businesses; information concerning any lottery, gift, enterprise or similar scheme; offering prizes dependent, in whole or in part, upon lot or chance or any prizes drawn or awarded by means of any such lottery, gift, enterprise or scheme, whether the list contains any part or all of such prizes; material which is intended to defraud the viewer or designed to obtain money by false or fraudulent pretenses, representations or promises; obscene content; libelous or slanderous content as defined by law; They cannot guarantee all submitted content will be aired.
