Queen Anne’s County purchasing efforts are not
centralized, nor does the County maintain a central bidders list.
Each department has the authority to purchase goods and services
needed to support county operations. Individual
departments are responsible for preparing and soliciting bids and proposals
or obtaining qualifications from contractors and consultants.
Please contact the respective department listed with any inquiries in
regard to current solicitations.
In some cases, attendance at a pre-bid or
pre-proposal conference will be a requirement for submitting a bid or
proposal. This information will
be noted in the published solicitation or advertisement.

Bidders are required
to acknowledge receipt of any/all addenda upon submission of bid documents.
Be sure to check the listings frequently. |
Unless
stated in the solicitation, there will be no charge for the documents.
All
items required in the bid document (insurance, bid bonds, affidavits, etc.)
must be completed and submitted in order for the bid/proposal to qualify.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to assure that bids and proposals
are received no later than the specified time.
