The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are looking for county citizen volunteers to fill current vacancies on the Blue Heron Golf Course Advisory Committee. The Blue Heron Golf Course Advisory Committee is intended for the County Commissioners to obtain advice on issues and policies pertaining to the Blue Heron Golf Course from a select group of citizens who the Commissioners believe to have the diverse backgrounds, relevant expertise, and interest to provide advice that appropriately represents opinions held by the broader community.
The duties of the Committee is to investigate, review, report, and make recommendations on the use and potential future uses of the Blue Heron Golf Course and its facilities, and assure the compatibility of the operating procedures with the welfare of the community.
