QAC Commissioners Seeking Citizens to Serve on Boards & Commissions

 

STEVENSVILLE – The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are looking for county citizens to fill vacancies on multiple county boards and commissions. The deadline for applications is April 13.

 

 The following boards and commissions have vacancies.

 

 

·         Department of Emergency Services Advisory Council – looking for a citizen volunteer from district 3 (2 year term)

 

·         Board of Building Appeals – looking for 1 member from the building, plumbing or electrical trade and 1 citizen volunteer (3 year term)

 

·         Property Tax Assessment Appeals Board – looking for 2 citizen volunteers (5 year term)

 

·         Agricultural Reconciliation Committee – looking for 1 citizen volunteer (5 year term)

 

·         Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board – looking for 1 citizen volunteer (5 year term)

 

·         Bay Bridge Airport Advisory Committee – looking for 2 citizen volunteers (2 year term)

 

·         Blue Heron Gold Course Advisory Committee – looking for 5 citizen volunteers (will be staggered)

 

·         Board of License Commissioners - looking for 1 citizen volunteer (4 year term)

 

·         Commission on Aging - looking for 2 citizen volunteers (4 year term)

 

·         Housing Authority - looking for 1 citizen volunteer (5 year term)

 

·         Broadband Advisory Board - looking for 2 citizen volunteers from District 1 and looking for 1 citizen volunteer from District 4 (will be staggered terms)
