This new ambulance is equipped with state of the art Advanced Life Support Equipment including the Zoll-X cardiac monitor defibrillator, Lucas-2 mechanical CPR device, Power Load Stretcher and mounting device as well as all other standard and advanced medical supplies and equipment to provide the most progressive Emergency Medical Services Delivery, explained Scott H. Wheatley Chief of Emergency Medical Services. The unit is also equipped with the latest safety restraint systems including the five point harness restraint system for providers taking care of the patients.

“I am extremely pleased with the latest ambulance delivery,” said Wheatley. “This stays in line with the Queen Anne’s County Commissioners’ commitment to assure a new ambulance is purchased annually so all front line ambulances are kept as current and safe as possible. Our clinicians work hard and are dedicated to assuring the most progressive and assertive pre-hospital emergency medicine is delivered to the citizens and visitors of the county and we make sure they have the best equipment and transportation possible.”
