QAC Announces the Next Series of Virtual Workshops for the Comprehensive Plan

We recently held several Visioning Workshops and want to thank everyone who has participated. We are pleased to announce the next set of Comprehensive Plan virtual workshops: Special Topic Workshops. Each Special Topic Workshop will focus on one or more components of the Comprehensive Plan. The first of the eight workshops will be held on February 10th will focus on community facilities, including open space, and recreation. The public is invited and encouraged to attend and provide their insight on the County’s facilities and services.

If connectivity is a problem, citizens can utilize the call-in option. We do not want COVID-19 to limit the community’s participation in this aspect of our Special Topic Workshops.

There will be a short presentation with an overview of the County’s facilities and services, as well as opportunities for you to give us valuable feedback. To obtain a paper copy of the presentation for those using the call-in option, contact our Planning Department at (410)758-1255 or visit the 2021 Comprehensive Plan webpage, www.qacplan2021.com. These workshops are part of a series of public engagement opportunities to provide input on the 2021 Comprehensive Plan update.
