FDA and CDC have put a pause on Johnson & Johnson Vaccine
“Out of an abundance of caution” – FDA Advisory
FDA says “rare but severe” chance of a cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (blood clotting) in conjunction with low levels of blood platelets.
Out of the 6.8 million doses already administered in America, 6 total cases have been found.
This pause only affects the Johnson and Johnson Vaccine and not the Moderna or Pfizer. Queen Anne’s County Health Department has primarily been supplied with the Moderna vaccine for their vaccination efforts.

- Symptoms Developed 6-13 Days After Vaccination
- 1 Woman has died and 1 is in critical condition

- Leg Pain
- Shortness of Breath
