Queen Anne’s County is still under a Blizzard Warning until Sunday morning at 6:00 am. Currently at the Department of Emergency Services, snow measurements of 14.5 inches have been recorded.
Utilities are still reporting there are no customers in Queen Anne’s County with power outages.
The Bay Bridge is still under Phase II wind restrictions. Phase II restrictions prohibits empty trailer, box trucks or high profile vehicles.
The Emergency Shelter located at Centreville Middle School is operational and accepting anyone that needs a warm place to wait out the storm. The shelter is accepting pets, so don’t leave them behind.
Tonight it will be mostly cloudy with continued snow that will end by the morning. High winds are still a concern which is causing blowing and drifting snow. Accumulations are still expected to reach 18-24”. Sunday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 30’s.
Due to hazardous conditions including drifting snow, we urge all citizens to stay off the roads at this time.
