Detours and road closures during the upcoming 10K Across the Bay on November 6, 2016

The east bound span of the bridge will be closed at 12:00 am Sunday morning to prepare for the runners and is expected to reopen at 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon. During this time frame, the west bound span will carry both east and west bound traffic

For the additional safety of the participants and spectators, the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Department and the Maryland State Highway Administration have approved a temporary closure of Route 18 between Main Street and Love Point Road from 5 am until 2 pm on Sunday, November 6th. During this time, traffic will be detoured through Stevensville on Love Point Road. In addition, residents wishing to travel west on US 50 are advised to approach the highway on Castle Marina Road.
