FOR IMMEDIATE RELASE:  

 

On behalf of the Department of Community Services, post storm operations are as follows:

  • The Kent Island Senior Center will remain closed tomorrow, July 25, 2017.
  • Transit operations will be suspended after 5pm today, reopening at 8am tomorrow.
  • The home delivered meals route will resume on Wednesday, July 26th, with emergency box meals available tomorrow on a case by case basis.
  • Recreation camps at Mowbray Park/Matapeake Elementary School will remain closed tomorrow, July 25, 2017.

A mandatory evacuation of Terrapin Grove Senior Housing Complex is currently being issued by the Housing Authority of Queen Anne’s County.   Please be advised that as a mandatory evacuation if you choose to remain at the complex, you will do so at your own risk.
