Chesapeake Heritage Visitor Center Site Improvement

Chesapeake Heritage Visitors Center and Ferry Point Park Closed May 1^st for Improvements

The Queen Anne’s County Chesapeake Heritage and Visitors Center and Ferry Point Park will be closed to the public, starting May 1, 2023, for site improvements. The project is expected to be completed within 7 months. There will be no disruption of access to the Piney Narrows Marina, and adjacent Department of Natural Resources boat ramp during this time. Queen Anne’s County Commissioners Release 2024 County Budget

The County Commissioners have scheduled three public hearings to inform residents about the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 County budget. Residents can attend any of the identical public hearings which will be held in Stevensville, Centreville and Sudlersville.

Budget Hearings and Locations:

May 22, 2023 - Bayside Elementary School - 7:00 PM

May 23, 2023 - Liberty Building - 7:00 PM

May 24, 2023 - Sudlersville Middle School - 7:00 PM

Pickleball court, pickleball courts are coming to Round Top Park

Coming soon to Round Top Park - Pickleball!

Pickleball Courts Coming to Round Top Park

The basketball courts located at Round Top Park will be closed to the public starting May 4^th until further notice, for court improvements. Once completed, the courts will host one basketball and two pickleball courts. This work is dependent on weather, so the dates are approximate.
