Spring 2026 CERT Class

Want to be better prepared for emergencies, protect your loved ones, and make a difference in your community? Join CERT!

The Queen Anne’s County Department of Emergency Services will be holding their next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic course beginning in April at the Queen Anne’s County Library – Kent Island Branch. This interactive, no-cost training teaches essential skills such as personal preparedness, community safety, and bystander first aid techniques.

No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn! Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

When: April 21 & 28, May 5, 13, 20, 26, and June 2 & 9.
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT (8 sessions total)
Where: Queen Anne’s County Library – Kent Island Branch | 200 Library Circle Stevensville, MD

Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged, but makeup options can be arranged if needed.
