How to Challenge a Ballot During Canvass

The public may challenge a Board decision during the board review. Immediately announce the challenge using the chat feature of the Google Meet. The challenger will then scan a signed copy of the Challenge During Canvass Form (PDF) and email it to the Election Director, christine.jones@maryland.gov in PDF format. Once the Challenge Form has been received, the Board will take action on that ballot. The Board’s decision will be live and in a reply email to the challenger.  Challenge During Canvass Form (PDF)
