SS Closings Covid-19

Due to the concern of health and safety of older adults, the Maryland Department of Aging is closing all Senior Centers across the state. Queen Anne’s County Senior Centers (Grasonville, Kent Island, and Sudlersville) will be closed for all Senior Center activities beginning March 12, 2020 at 4:00 PM until further notice. If any seniors are in need of resources during this time, please contact the Area Agency on Aging office at: 410-758-0848.

The Area Agency on Aging offers programs and activities that support senior citizens in their effort to remain healthy, active and independent and to age in place.  For information on becoming a member please contact the Senior Center.

Availability

Services are provided through 3 multi-purpose senior centers located in

  • Grasonville
  • Kent Island
  • Sudlersville

Meals, activities, information and assistance, transportation, and supportive in-home services are delivered by a staff of 45 full- and part-time persons.
