Take notice that these applications shall be considered at a public hearing on Wednesday, the 17th day of September, 2025, at the times designated below, in the office of the Board of Appeals, 110 Vincit St., Centreville, MD 21617.

Requesting: A variance from §18:1-19.E(1)(c)[4][e][iii] to reduce the required 50 ft. rear yard setback to 20 ft. to construct a 22 ft. x 36 ft. deck to existing dwelling. The subject property is located at 100 Skyler Ave. in the Minor Subdivision of the Lands of Robinson L Brown near Chester, MD in the 4th Election District and is located in the Neighborhood Conservation-15 (NC-15) Zoning District and Critical Area Limited Development Area (LDA).

Case No: BOA-25-03-0210
Requesting: Conditional use approval under §18:1-15.C(13) for a bird banding station comprised of a 2,082 sq. ft. main building, a 432 sq. ft. trellis, a 576 sq. ft. pavilion, and an 80 sq. ft. shed. The applicant is seeking approval for a duration of 18 months. The subject property is located on the north side of Round Top Rd. near Chestertown, MD in the 7th Election District and is located in the Countryside (CS) Zoning District.

These are evidentiary hearings. You may want to hire an attorney to present your case. Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.

This is an open meeting, but in compliance with the Open Meetings Act a part or all of the meeting may be conducted in closed session. Notice of the meeting and any closed session related thereto will be posted in the lobby of the Dept. of Planning & Zoning, 110 Vincit St., Suite 104, Centreville, MD 21617.
