2022 Comprehensive Plan

PlanQAC 2022 was adopted on May 24, 2022 as an update to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan. It continues to reaffirm the County’s land use ethic to maintain it as a quintessential rural community. PlanQAC strengthens the County’s long-standing guiding principles, growth management, and supports creating sustainable communities consistent with the County’s vision. Following adoption, implementation of the recommendations outlined in the Plan will guide further decisions being made throughout the County.

The 2022 Kent Narrows Community Plan is a separate, stand-alone document.

2010 Comprehensive Plan

The 2010 Queen Anne’s County Comprehensive Plan continues to reaffirm our land use ethic to maintain the County as a quintessential rural community. The theme of this update is to preserve our connections from the past in order to create the future through sustainability.

2002 Comprehensive Plan

The 2002 Queen Anne’s County Comprehensive Plan is comprised of two volumes. This first volume provides a detailed overview of existing conditions, trends and issues. The second volume provides the Plan’s policy direction, implementing strategies and priorities. These two volumes are supplemented by a technical appendix that provides the details of the alternative scenarios analysis and infrastructure assessment completed during the planning process.
