Kent Island Skatepark to Close Briefly for Comfort Station Installation
The Kent Island Skatepark will be closed on June 24 as part of a project to install a new comfort station.
The first step was the installation of a well that will serve the future restroom. We did not have to close the park for this portion of the project. The closure is currently scheduled for June 24 for the placement of the restroom facility itself. This date is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
This brief closure is necessary to complete the final phase of the project, which will provide added convenience for park users.
