Cable Infrastructure Inspection Scheduled in Queen Anne’s County
Queen Anne’s County has contracted with CBG Communications, Inc. to perform inspections of local cable television and internet infrastructure. From September 9 through September 16, contractor Richard (Dick) Nielsen will be inspecting Breezeline’s cable television network equipment and infrastructure, including facilities on utility poles, in underground pedestals, and connections to households and businesses.
The purpose of this inspection is to ensure the network is properly installed and maintained in a way that protects public safety. Mr. Nielsen will also be documenting the availability of Comcast and Talkie facilities within the county and noting any issues found in the County’s Rights-of-Way.
Residents may notice Mr. Nielsen working in their neighborhoods during this period. He will carry official identification and a letter of authorization from Queen Anne’s County explaining his role in the project.
