[ARCHIVED] County Administrator Gregg Todd's Wrap Up of the July 10th Commissioners' Meeting

Folks,
Meeting started at 8:30 on Tuesday with a legal closed session.  There was consensus to ask Patrick to follow up with opposing counsel on an issue.  They also had an administrative session to select a Parks and Rec Advisory Board member.  Consensus for  Laurie Dalziel was taken with a vote in open session.

1.            DPW Office Building Roof Replacement - Construction Bid – reject if you would.  Only 2 bids were received, both high  - bids rejected    
2.            Property Transfer Deed - Commerce Street Property (Downes Building) to Queen Anne’s County Arts Council – approved
3.            Green Spring Road - Standard Road Conveyance Deed Portion of Green Spring Road (Rt 301 to Rt 18) to be conveyed from QAC to SHA – approved
4.            Southern Kent Island documents for August 21, 2018 Public Hearing – excellent packet put together by Todd and his folks – approved                                
5.            Letter to Southern Kent Island Residents – Request for Easement – for the final holdouts – approved

6.            Paving at various parks bids – David A. Bramble to pave the various Park lots and Trails using $423,400,00 from the Department of Parks' FY 2019 Parking Lot Paving Project #400809, FY 19 Major Maintenance Project #400215 and FY 19 Trail Dev/Maintenance Project # 400913 – approved
7.            Text Amendment 18-02 - Add Expansion of Mini warehouses to the Conditional Uses in the Town Center (TC) Zoning Designation –  Patrick Thompson to draft Ordinance 18-02 – approved for Pat to draft
8.            Invitation letter to Gov Hogan for Chesterwye House ribbon cutting ceremony – approved
9.            Property Liens  - approved                  
10.          Property Tax Credit for Disabled or Fallen Emergency Workers – Warren Scott Hogan for the 2018-2019 tax year – approved
11.          Community Partnerships for Children and Families appointments –  Bill Wamsley for a three year term and Dr. Andrea Kane, Kathryn Dilley and Jim Wills for as long they hold their current professional positions, to the Board of the Queen Anne's County Community Partnerships for Children and  Families effective July 1, 2018, and to re-appoint Vincent Radosta and Carrie O'Conner to a second three-year term ending June 30, 2018 – approved
12.          Budget Amendment CC-36 – Chesterwye – approved                            
13.          Budget Amendment CC-4 – Bay Bridge Airport  - approved                  
14.          Budget Amendment CC-3 – COLA  - approved                            
15.          Growth Allocation petition for Sonny Schulz Blvd, LLC – Matapeake, Lot 7 – you would forward to the PC for their review/approval – approved                              
16.          AG Preservation Advisory Board  -  Appointment Randy Hutton to a five year term on the AG Preservation Advisory – approved
17.          Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Appointment – will address in admin session – see above
18.          Recommendation to allow antenna attachment to county tower – Broadband Advisory Committee to allow Delmarva Wifi to connect to four County water towers located at Matapeake Business Park, Castle Marina, Prospect Bay and the Chesapeake Bay Business Park – approved
