The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners voted unanimously to appoint Lynda Thomas to the position of Deputy Executive Assistant to the County Commissioners. Thomas, pictured with her hand up, took the oath of office during the commissioners’ January 8, 2019 meeting. Thomas has worked for the commissioners’ office since 2005. Also recognized that evening, was Executive Assistant Margie Houck, pictured seated, who recently completed her 25th year with Queen Anne’s County. Thomas is the first Queen Anne’s County employee to hold the title of Deputy Executive Assistant to the County Commissioners.
