Recently County Officials, Commissioner Jim Moran and County Administrator Todd Mohn and the Department of Community Services had the honor of having Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and his team visit. The Lt. Governor became more acquainted with the Department from a presentation provided to the QAC Commissioners. It illustrated how the Department has aided constituents throughout a life time and even multiple generations. During the tour, Director Cathy Riggs Willis highlighted the multitude of services available through Aging & Transportation, Housing, and Community Partnerships for Children. The Department was graciously appreciative of Lt. Governor for affording the opportunity and the acknowledgement of valuable programs extended to citizens of Queen Anne’s County.
