Up to the date information about COVID-19 and any other public health information.

As we have mentioned before, Queen Anne’s County does not update the information on the State of Maryland website. The State Department of Vital Statistics advised the deaths reported on the state website are based on what the family tells the funeral home in reference to the deceased place of residence. In many instances if the person resided in a nursing facility prior to death the family may choose to list the original address prior to the nursing home on the death certificate. Queen Anne’s County Department of Health is only listing deaths that occurred in Queen Anne’s County. The State of Maryland website is the only location at this time to get information regarding the amount of positive cases broken down by zip code. Zip codes with over 7 positive cases are reported.
