“I believe as citizens of Queen Anne’s County we faced some real-life changing circumstances this past year. But we witnessed a community rally together to help the many that were hit hard by this pandemic. I am honored to have witnessed the true compassion that prevailed in the hearts of many of our citizens and know without a doubt that the future for our county will be one worth it all.” said Phil Dumenil, Queen Anne’s County Commissioner
“Despite the challenges we faced in 2020, there is much to be grateful about. Initially straddled with gridlock from a 2-year bridge deck replacement, the county was able to work with the state to expedite the completion of the project in under a year. Fiscally, the county maintained its AAA bond rating through a crisis without raising taxes or sacrificing essential government services. While other jurisdictions canceled 4th of July, Queen Anne’s County was able to light up the night sky to celebrate the birth of our Country.” said Chris Corchiarino, Queen Anne’s County Commissioner
