This week we have continued scheduling appointments for our residents included in the 1A and 1B priority groups established by the State of Maryland. To learn more about the priority groups visit https://covidlink.maryland.gov/content/vaccine/.
Next week we will continue working on these same groups. Since we started vaccinating in late December, 9,788 residents have received a first dose and 5,542 residents have received both doses. The Queen Anne’s County Health Department has administered 4,899 of those first doses and 3,445 of the second doses. We have approximately 2,000 residents 75 and over still on our interest list. QAC is has received a slight increase of vaccine this week (400 doses with 100 dedicated to education and childcare staff). The Health Department estimates that vaccinations for the next priority group 1C will begin in approximately two weeks.
