Summer Camps and Programs Offered by Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation

 

Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation is offering a variety of camps and programs this summer. Summer Camps range in age from 5 -12 years of age. Some of our sports programs have offerings for ages 3-5 and up to 15 years of age.

 

Our traditional camps will be held in Centreville, Sudlersville and Stevensville and start on June 21 and run through mid – August.

 

New this year are STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Camps with Challenge Island which are offered in Stevensville and Centreville and a field hockey camp on the Queen Anne’s County High School Turf field.

 

Traditional Day Camps – Discover Summer - $150.00 per week (extended care $20 extra a week)

  • Ages 5-12
  • June 21-August 13
  • Locations: Mowbray Park, Kennard Elementary School, and Sudlersville Park

 

STEAM Camps with Challenge Island – Matapeake Clubhouse - $195.00 per week

  • Superhero Steam Camp – Ages 4-6
  • Pets Palooza Camp – Ages 5-11 
  • Slime Topia Camp – Ages 5-11 
  • Steamtank Entrepreneur Camp – Ages 9-12 

 

STEAM Camps with Challenge Island – Kennard Heritage Center - $195.00 per week

  • World Cruise Camp – Ages 5-11 
  • Slime Squad Camp – Ages 5-11

 

Sports Camps – Sudlersville, Matapeake and Centreville Middle Schools

  • All Sports, All the Time! – Ages 7-11 - $140.00 per session
  • JR All Sports – Ages 5-7 - $90.00 per session
  • Let’s Play Sports – Ages 3-5 - $60.00 per session
  • I Stand Out Basketball Camp – Ages 8-13 $150.00 per session

 

Revolution Field Hockey Camp –Queen Anne’s County High School Turf Field - $249.00 per week

  • Ages 8-15
  • July 26-29

For more information about the camps including detailed descriptions and the weeks they are offered visit parksnrec.org. At the top of the menu under “Summer” you will see links for the various summer programs being offered. Also located at the top menu is “Register Now”. We still require a household identification number for anyone that has registered for camps in the past.
