Mighty Matapeake Multi-Sport Festival This Saturday at Matapeake Beach and Kent Island South Trail
Athletes attending the Mighty Matapeake Multi-Sport Festival will be utilizing the Matapeake Beach area from 7:00-11:00 am this Saturday, September 25. We are asking those not attending the festival to avoid the area until the conclusion of the event.
The Mighty Matapeake Multi-Sport Festival is part of the Eastern Shore Triathlon Series and includes a swim in the bay, bike ride on Route 8 and a run on the Kent Island South Trail. Be on the lookout for those on bikes and remember to share the road. Matapeake Beach will go back to normal park operations following the event.
