QAC Health Department is Offering COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for Ages 5-11
Queen Anne’s County Health Department will offer COVID-19 vaccination clinics specifically for children ages 5-11. A parent or guardian must be present for the child to receive their shot.
Children 5-11 will be offered the Pfizer Vaccine which is a 2-dose vaccination. The second dose cannot be administered sooner than 21 days following the first. The dosage for ages 5–11, is a lower dose than adults. As with any vaccination we encourage you to talk to your child’s pediatrician before making an appointment.
Queen Anne’s County Public Schools will be sending registration information directly to parents and guardians. If your child is not in Queen Anne’s County Public Schools and you would like to make an appointment contact the Health Department at (443)262-9909
Masks are required inside the building for anyone over the age of 2.
First dose clinics will be offered at two locations on the following dates:
Monday, November 8
Matapeake Elementary School

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuesday, November 9
Church Hill Elementary School
631 Main Street
Church Hill, MD 21623
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Appointments for the second dose will be made by Health Department staff while you are at the first dose clinic. Additional clinics will be added once we receive more of the lower dose supply.
