At the recent County Commissioner meeting, several employees from the Parks and Recreation Department were given Proclamations, for demonstrating heroism and setting an example for their colleagues as well as the citizens of Queen Anne’s County.
On January 31, Charles Comegys, provided lifesaving assistance to a fellow co-worker quickly and successfully without hesitation.
On February 18, Patrick Miles and Jayden Wilson demonstrated two acts of heroism by responding quickly without hesitation to life threatening situations. Not only did they provide lifesaving actions to a fellow co-worker but also stopped to provide lifesaving assistance to a citizen involved in a car crash.
