Public Safety Community Thanks Commissioner Steve Wilson for His Service

On Tuesday November 15, several agencies and departments thanked County Commissioner Steve Wilson for his service to the county for the last 8 years. Among those were the Department of Emergency Services and the Fire and EMS Commission.

“We want to thank one of our biggest supporters and dear friends to the volunteer fire departments, Office of the Sheriff, and Department of Emergency Services. Steve has always had our back”, said Bill Faust.

“On average a paramedic spends roughly 4,000 hours to become a provider and receive his patch. Commissioner Wilson has spent 4,000 plus hours with the Department of Emergency Services over the last 8 years and may know our operations better than we do.” Said Scott Haas

A collection of patches was presented to Commissioner Steve Wilson from the Public Safety community in Queen Anne’s County consisting of the Office of the Sheriff, Department of Emergency Services, Fire and EMS Commission and all nine volunteer fire departments.
