Queen Anne’s County Department of Emergency Services presented a $1,000 scholarship to Samantha Nicolle Hartless on behalf of Maryland Emergency Management Association. This award is offered every year to promote careers in Emergency Management with high school seniors. Samantha graduated from QAC High School this past May with a GPA of 3.8. She will be attending University of Alabama in the fall, studying Political Science and Law Enforcement. Samantha would eventually like to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Behavioral Analysis Unit.
