It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our esteemed Planning Attorney, Christopher Francis Drummond. With profound sadness, we bid farewell to a cherished member of our community who dedicated decades of service to our County. Working most closely with the Planning Commission and Planning and Zoning Department staff, Chris was a pillar of wisdom, integrity, and compassion. His expertise shaped the landscape of our county’s development, leaving a mark on every project and decision. Chris was extremely generous in his support of all County staff members, and we are all deeply affected by this tragedy. Chris will be missed not only for his intellect and his expertise but most especially for his generous friendship.
As we mourn this loss, let us also celebrate Chris's remarkable legacy—a legacy of service, kindness, and excellence. His memory will forever inspire us to strive for the highest standards and uphold the values he held dear. Chris showed us how to maintain the capacity to laugh and share good cheer in face of successes and struggles in equal measure.
