The Chester River association will be having its annual “Farmers Breakfast” Thursday March 26th, 8:00 AM at the Crumpton Fire Hall. They will be hosting an array of speakers that will bring eastern shore farmers, media and concerned citizens up to speed on the latest goings on in the Chester River watershed. Highlighting the breakfast will be a presentation by Mark Williams of Earth Data who will be showcasing the preliminary data collected from a nearly completed 2 year study conducted by Dr. Allen Davis of the Environmental Science Department at the University of Maryland. The data is being collected from High Impact Environmental’s “Cascading System” of floodway stormwater containment basins, a drainage system implemented on Hambleton Creek Farms at the headwaters of Hambleton Creek, a sub watershed to the Chester River. A complementary buffet breakfast will be server and all are welcome.
