Queen Anne's County Commissioners Mark Anderson and Jim Moran join members of the Commission on Aging for the 4th Annual Senior Center Tour. The group departed from the Kramer Center in Centreville and is headed for Sudlersville Senior Center and Kent Island Senior Center before stopping for lunch at the Grasonville Senior Center.

The twelve member Commission on Aging was formed at the inception of the Department of Aging in 1981 as an advisory body as required by the Older Americans Act. It is patterned after the Maryland Commission on Aging. It is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Other responsibilities of the commission on aging include conducting special studies related to the elderly by the direction of the County Commissioners, evaluating and prioritizing programs and services and promoting the welfare and betterment of the elderly in Queen Anne’s County.
