A local contractor has just hit and ruptured a sewer force main on Maryland route 18 adjacent to Cox Creek. County crews have been mobilized and are making repairs to the sewer line break.
RESIDENTS SHOULD NOT SWIM, CRAB OR FISH IN THIS AREA FOR 48 HOURS OR UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE....
