Duties & Responsibilities
The Treasury Division collects all revenues deposited in all County accounts as well as mailing real property tax bills and various other billing and collections.
Payments
Payment Options: At this time, we accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards. Returned checks will incur bank charges and restitution fees (if applicable).
Citizens may pay real property tax, water and sewer, or special benefit assessment bills online.

Tax Sale
The Queen Anne's County annual tax sale takes place the 3rd Tuesday in May and is held online. Please visit our auction website for more information.

Deeds

All deeds transferring title are reviewed to verify that all real estate and utility bills have been paid.
Deeds of Trust do not require a stamp from the Department of Budget & Finance; these should be sent directly to the Clerk of Court.
