Food Truck Information

Queen Anne's County Park and Recreation (QACPR) allows Food Trucks to sell within our Park system. We ask that if your business intends to sell food in our Parks that you please follow the following guidelines.

  • That you hold a valid QAC Food Permit from QAC Environmental Health Department.
    • If you need a permit from Environmental Health please use this website.
  • That you purchase a One-Day Permit from QAC Parks and Recreation for $50.
    • You may purchase the permit online using this website and print the receipt as your permit to display in your Food Truck.
    • This One-Day Permit allows you to visit multiple approved Parks in a single day. 
  • Parks that you are not allowed to sell at are; 
    • Old Love Point Park
    • Route 18 Park
    • Church Hill Park
    • Matapeake Beach & Clubhouse
    • Terrapin Nature Preserve
    • Batts Neck Park on the days that Chesapeake Bay Piranha's Football Program has a game, (dates TBD for 2026).  All other days at Batts Neck Park are available for food truck sales.
    • We do not allow food trucks at these locations because we contract with concessionaires or for other reasons.
  • Blackout Days- Occasionally QACPR will schedule selected Food Trucks for events hosted by QACPR.  During those events no other Food Trucks will be allowed.  Blackout days will be displayed on the TeamUp Calendar link.
  • Our Park Rangers periodically check for permits or might ask you to park in a different location.  Please abide by the Park Rangers at all times. 
  • There is to be no parking on the grass.  The link provides permitted parking locations for each Park designated by the red x's on map.
  • No electric or water will be provided.
  • Food Truck Vendors must remove all trash from the Park.
  • No alcohol is allowed to be sold.

Helpful Tips:  

  • The TeamUp link is a calendar QACPR uses to track league schedules.  We update this calendar to the best of our knowledge however there are always last minute changes.  
  • You may reach out to local Sports Organizations for their practice or game schedule.  The Organization listing can be found by clicking here.
